Got this cheap board from Ebay and is now controlling two stepper motors.
The board is attached to my PC using the LPT port and on my PC a live cd of LinuxCNC is commanding the board. Translated the Chinese pin description using google translate and got to the following pin configuration:
1. B pulse
2. A pulse
3. C pulse
4. B dir
5. D pulse
7. C dir
8. D dir
14. A dir
16. Spindle relay
17. Board on/off. I assigned the Amplifier on/off of linuxCNC to this pin

Before we head out to the shop and begin CNC Plasma Cutting, we will check out our G-Code program in Mach 3. This will give us some confidence when running our CNC Program.

Mach 3 is a great CNC Control Program. It takes our G-Code and converts it into Signal for the CNC Controller. The CNC Controller then sends the signals out to either Servo Motors or Stepper Motors. These motors then move the axis to create motion.

Cutting some 3/4″ MDF parts for the new CNC Router. Running at about 100IPM with Mach3 and a xylotex controller programmed the toolpaths with vcarve from vectric. Long live DIY, enjoy.

This is my first test of the Beta version of Smooth Stepper. Compared the LPT port I have increased rapids from 370 IPM to 1,100 IPM. And increased the rate of acceleration by 5X… These parts are being cut @ 150 IPM.

This is my CNC router cutting out a memorial plaque for my mother. It is my all original design. I am using Mach 3 as my post controller that runs the router, Turbocad 15 to draw the plaque and last, Vectric Cut2D to do any final changes and also to write the G code. This is my first project using my CNC Router.
